We went to south Tahoe to visit my niece and her new baby boy Cedar.  Shark_bait is bummed that he cant drive a jet ski until he hits 16 but decides to try para sailing.  I keep teasing my wife how this has got to be more dangerous than fishing.  They get him all harnessed and ready to go.  The captain keeps looking nervously at this cloud that is forming.  After about 10 minutes he says, "I dont like the looks of that.  I havent seen a cloud like that since my days in florida, and they tend to make what Benjamin franklin did look smart."  The other customer on the boat questions the odds of getting hit by lightning. My first thought its got to be like being attacked by a shark.  :smt005

Shark bait and I bust up laughing and tell our story.  The captain says thats enough karma for him, time to head in.  We schedule for the following day and Nathan has a great flight and cant wait till he is 18 to skydive.  The captain keeps razzing nathan about being tailed by Nessie.

So in a two week span Nathan gets tailed by a vegetarian shark and almost becomes a torched kite.  And I wonder where all this grey hair comes from  :smt044

Skydiving out of the little airport in Marina is cool, great view. But it'll probably be too boring for Nathan...he should checkout skishing!

Dude.  When you grow up around a bunch of self-propelled, ocean-adrenalin junkies you may just be destined for greatness.  I'll vote for you, Nathan - do good things, Brother.   :smt001
