Hi guys, I've never thought much about fishing for sturgeon, but after reading some of the things here. It's going to be something
I'll have gear up to do in 2006.  I've seen them caught of the banks of the San Joaquin, awesome fish.. I don't think I'd fish the kayak in the river for sturgeon, between fighting the fish, current, and dodgeing trees it might be too much.  But the I'll have to try the bay someday...

Happy New Year, and Great fishing for all..

Craig

My advice: Make sure you invest in proper clothing....it gets really nasty out there  :smt002 Bottom line, you want to stay warm and dry or your first experience maybe your last  :smt087 Good luck and hope to see you out there!
