I am so torn right now, looking at NOAA for the forecast, I really want to fish the rockfish opener on Sunday but am on the fence.  Would you say screw it and launch out of Pillar Point on Sunday or play it safe and so something like Paradise for butts?

Live today for tomorrow's sake.
We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.

Never been to ARW, heck, never really been to the East Bay.  I know, hard to believe eh?
Shannon is pretty stuck on those two options, as far as helping our bro Mooch, we are gonna do our part.  :smt002

It's a cool spot, Tom...  It's not the best tides for hali's but there's not a better time to get aquainted with The Wall...  All the known holes will be very well marked.

If the fishing sucks at least there will be good company+food, and there's always the option of a lesuirely, (protected) paddle thru Ballena Bay if the wind picks up.

NOAA says Sunday is gonna be fishable off HMB. Only 5-6ft mixed swell w/5kt wind. Go for it.

I was tryin gto remember if the last time we were thee is the 5-6 foot was causing breakers over the reef.  For the life of me, I cannot remember what the forecast was, only it was pretty nasty.
