I agree 100% on the creepy-ness of the dancing old man.

BUT...I also felt like his excited freaky-dancing was the only thing that could possibly represent my feelings about the upcoming rockfish season.
That crazy dancing old man? That's how I felt as I wheeled my kayak onto the beach on Saturday morning. And again as I launched through the surf. And then again as I got that 1st bite of 2010!
I can still hear it ringing in my head: ~DA DADA DA DA DADA~   ~DA DADA DA DA DADA~   ~DA DADA DA DA DADA~
