monterey skunk

i launched at mbk on sat.  i have not been in the ocean in a while, i received a faceful of whitewater on my launch, unusual for breakers there. 2 rods, frozen squid, to the red can to the yellow can to the beach, sea otters, sea lions, dolphins, lots of birds all eating squid-but no fish for me.  whitecaps before noon.

   Time well spent, like baseball spring training.

Yeah Chris, it's just like spring training. Hockey-style even since they only play a few exhibition games before the season starts...and hey rockfish season starts this weekend! I woulda joined you but was out of town for the past week. Fished MBk last Sat though and had similar results, only took 1 pic all day. Sorry for the threadjack. See you on Saturday!
