Nice abalone. Salt Point Report said vis was zero. We cancelled our trip to Ocean Cove for the opener. Didn't want to come down with a case of Sacramento Syndrome.

Hey Brother,

Outstanding that you went out into the wild and played in the water. Have spent day after day looking at the weather sites only to be dismayed at the boiling cauldron that is every day out there. There's nothing better than being outside when the weather's fierce. Adds an appreciation and an element of accomplishment and intensity to it all. Dreaming of giant abs. Talk to you later,

Shannon

Well done blackab. looks like a protected spot, doesn't seem like it would be a good day to go outside the break. Your kid reminds me of my lab with that frisbee.

Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

But I must ask, why do you keep putting abs inside your wetsuit? Does the cold water not affect you?

Convenience - it's easy to cruise the tidepools without a bag or tube.  Cold can be willed away to a point.
