I was the first kayak to ever enter that derby. You are right about the s#it talking on the radio. All that saw me had a comment. I even got a CF number so I would adhere to the rules, but when I got there they said I didn't need one.
I was totally new to sturgeon fishing from a kayak and I got nada.
Big time prize money. Definitely worth a shot if you aren't a football fan or can handle just listening to it on the radio.
