The prior week to his preliminary screening, my gf and I attended an Autism/ADHD/ADD workgroup that Mason's behavioral doctor instructs. It was a very good 2 hour lecture.

After I attended this event I talked to Masons mother and told her the similar signs Mason shares with portions of Autism Spectrum Disorder she told me "just because you have a certificate doesn't make you an expert". But I am proud of myself for taking the necessary steps.

I am glad they have these free programs up here.

I live in Orangevale. Those locations are a bit of a drive from here. I may still take you up on the offer but if I can find one in my neighborhood it would be nice. What do think of your Tarpon 160? Stability, maneuverability, speed etc.?

Mason's mom may come around. I'm sure it's partially a pride thing. She doesn't want to admit anything could be wrong with her kid. You're doing the right thing. Follow you gut instict and take care of you kid. It will be a hard road ahead but there is help and support. Fight for it. Don't take no for answer.
Never argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

My T160 is my favorite kayak Ive owned, I have owned a Tarpon 140, Prowler 15, and two other T160's with no rudder and a Perception Bimini 15. It is by far the most comfortable, I can sit in it longer than I could in my Prowler. I am 6'3" 240 pounds and I can stand on it in perfect conditions.

I've been looking at several kayaks as you know. That gives me one more to consider. Does the length ever cause any difficulty?
