Nice pic Scott! dog & fish in the same photo= good times!

Sean - Was trying to get her to hold my PFD knife in her mouth for the fishunter pose but she was too busy sniffing & licking the fish.  :smt005 next time for sure.
she was doing it right, straight from the book, it reads,
"after sniff&lick......THEN put the knife into mouth and......."

nice pic and report, Scott.    Good trout and beautiful doggy.

Too bad they closed off the back ponds.  My eyes lit up when i read about the bass and bluegill back there.   Was already reaching for my fly rod and poppers.

I skunked out on teh delta same day.   Had only 1 missed hit when i wasnt paying attention.   Got off the water at 2pm.  But, it was great to be out that morning in the misty fog and quiet water.  There was hardly anyone else out there.     It was teh first trip out with the new fish finder.  What a differece it makes paddlling and knowing what is underneath!    Its a whole new ball game and gave me a completely new perspective on the fishing the delta.

When I was there last they said that boats weren't allowed, or float tubes either, but they didn't say fishing was banned...  Its kinda hard to fish the pods without a float tube from what I saw since its really bushy around the outside of the ponds.

Love the report Scott!  Thanks for sharing!

I miss being down there already!  Maybe I'll win Oregon's mega millions lottery and come home early?
   Nice report.
