I'll be bringing the family down to Monterey Bay tomorrow afternoon for our annual "eat till you can't move at Asilomar Thanksgiving feast" and will be staying till Friday.

Is anyone going out for dabs or mackerel? Are there any dabs or mackerel around? Is it worth it to drag the boat or just play catch on the beach?

Thanks!

Good questions. Not many boats out the last 5 days so it's hard to get any updated info. But I suspect the dabs are in the same old spots in 90-120ft near the mile buoy. I don't know about macs but there were some jumbo sardines last week, as well as some shark/ray action btwn the wharf and jetty. Good luck if you go! The WX s/b pretty nice, at least.
