ling cod open one more month for spearfishers

ill be getting my suit this saturday just noone laugh at me when u see me in it! haha i cant wait though to start this !!

Dude I put my suit on, looked in the full length mirror and just had one thought about sharks.  "dont look like a seal."  I'm screwed. 

The water is warmer than in May.  There are days between storms with no plankton bloom and you can have days with 50' viz. 

Is that statement about temperature true?  weather buoy shows surface temp in monterey at 57 F.  i can hang with that for a couple hours if i'm swimming.  But if i'm floating and moving kinda stealth like, that shivers me timbers. 

I am off all thanksgiving week and just dying to get out.  I am an old diver, I will give it another try.  Have own equipment.  You post it, and they will come.  Be nice, I would be coming from Chico.

Conditions are looking rough but the forecast doesn't go all the way to the end of the month. I'm diving if weather cooperates.

I guess, like me, there are a lot of people surfing the forum for news or pics, visiting old posts, and just waiting for the weather to turn so we can get out there...
