 how many of you posting on here fish out of a sik. i fish out of a dirigo 140. heres a pic of me and my guide in humboldt bay.

A buddy of mine (nonNCKA) fishes exclusively from a WS Pungo. In the ocean.

i've taken my yak all over in the ocean fishing. I love my boat. I do realize the advatage of a sot for getting back in, mine is a real pain to remount. But i've paddled it all over and have no complaints.

Sea kayaker and Adventure Kayak (the latter is owned by Rapid Media the Canadian firm that  publishes Kayak Angler) show a sea kayaker with a Salmon or trout catch nearly every other magazine. So it can be done even in places where you have to wear a dry suit--I actually often wear one here because we are border line. Personally, I'd only do it for lakes--having to use both hands for a fish makes high and low bracing difficult--especially big fish
