First of all if you're not experienced with coleman liquid fuel gear don't get this stuff, in the hands of someone inexperienced it can be really dangerous, REALLY. If you're not experienced with this stuff you're way safer and better off with propane.

But if you do have experience, know how, and proper safety attitude, then you know the pros and cons of this equipment.

If i sound like a preacher it's from years of experience.

I was cleaning out a rental and found this stuff, I have my own so this either goes to someone else or the metal recycler.

Stove is large 2 burner, tank has some rust in it and may cause problems later but for now it works perfect. The cap on the fuel tank need to be replaced seal is shot, (available at most sportings good stores)

Lanterns, they have steel tanks that appear rust free, which means they're not really old like mine that has a brass tank.  they also work well but could use a tune up.

These items are not "flex fuel" they need to be run on Coleman fuel only or an off brand equivalent, not unleaded automotive gasoline.

Like I said, free to a good home, shipping ought to be about $10 per item.

FYI I bought a kit to convert a ancient coleman stove to propane, around $15-$25. Thats what I use for my lead melting set up. :smt002

I've heard of those kits, from your post sounds like they work well, but this stove has to go, between backpacking types and 2 burner versions and one hi powered fish fryer I'll still have 7 stoves after I get rid of this one, The GF refers to me as a stove junkie sometimes.

if someone wanted to convert this one it'd make a nice platform, the burners are about as far apart as you can get on this type of stove, lots of room for big pots n fry pans.

Dale, if nobody wants the stove, I'll take it, but won't be able to pick it up 'til sometime next week. If someone else wants it before then, pls have at it.

I'm hoping that gas tank in the stove comes out and attaches to the outside for cooking.  That location looks sketchy!

Dale, when I first saw this post, I kinda avoided it...the title jumped out at me "white gas" because, yeah, I almost burned my arm off with that stuff about 6 years ago. Very combustible. I have a permanent bald spot on my arm now...no hair will grow....
Then I finally view the post, and low-and-behold...you forewarned everybody about the dangers of white gas. Too ironic.

OK, not for you.     :smt044 :smt044 Just kidding bro.
Those stoves are pretty much bomb proof. Killer deal! If I didn't already have 7 stoves and 3 lanterns I would be all over it.

Dude, that is a GREAT stove, I have a similar one from the '50's.

Ditto on the propane conversion, though.

I have one that my dad bought used about 1955, round tank, galvanized I think.  Works like it's new,

I haven't checked recently but last time I called Coleman sold parts for all that old gear, (cheap too).

  Sorry I can't use them.

I recently picked up an old Colman lantern that my dad used to use.  It's got the bulb shaped glass globe, it's orange and has a "spark starter" so It's probably 70-80's vintage.  Pump needed some 30wt oil to freshen up the leather cup, and the fual cap seal is shot.
I like the looks of it and because it was dad's I'll hold on to it.
