Might as well pop it and do it right. A hairdryer and a little bit of pressure will pop off a gooped trans really easily. Nothing worse than paying all that money for all that technology to have it not work for you in the end. That's just a road to frustration IMO.

Go to the Hummingbird website and look for the operating manual for your particular model.  I did it for my old Eagle and was able to get the manual.  It should also tell you the capabilities of yours.

flipped mine no prob. Snug too. Only glued the donut. Duct taped the out side of donut so it wont rip. I could fit a bowling ball in there snugly. Thx guys and good fishin.

Tried to pry it out after heating it up with a blow dryer. Of course it ripped. So I made another one, and put it in the right way this time. Good to Go!
