It would be very cool if you've taken a picture of this rare event  :smt007  Congrat on the catches and thanks for the report.

The bait or the double hook up? I actually left my camera in the car so it would have been a crappy cell phone pic.

It was great. Had my parents over last night. Gilled it and made a chipotle cream sauce....Friggin' delicious. And that was only 1/2 the fish. I was at our local farmers market on Sun AM and a guy was selling fresh monterey bay halibut for $17 per pound. I joked with my wife that we have almost $70 worth of hali in our fridge. To bad the actual fisherman don't see that $'s

Wow Eric! Two fish at the same time? That is just awesome. No kidding about the
wacker. For someone who does an amazing wood work and not have his own.
That is how generous you are. Wait a minute, you said you were going to give
me one too! :smt044

I did take a pic with my camera phone but you couldn't see that there were two I actually didn't notice (it was a double) till they were in the net. And by then it was total chaos. The funny thing is when I went to pull the hooks they were already un buttoned. So I must have had them both barely hooked.
