Just checked the tide for Montday, -1.7 @ 7:08 am  Then 4.9 @ 2:04 and 2.9 after.  I like these better.  I might still come Sunday, but am there for Monday for sure.

I plan on coming from Berkeley. Anyone want to carpool?  Halibut and crabs sound a little better to me than clams, but I could do anything. I was actually thinking about spearing for halibut, but I'm a little nervous about the sharky water. The mouth of Tomales Bay is known as one of the most dangerous spots on the planet for shark attacks. I'm guessing we dont have to fish near there, and fall and early winter is the worst month for sharks (famous last words...)  Any of you spear guys have thoughts on sharks there?

Good question!  Did not see anyone using a clam gun there last time.  IMHO the big PVC tube would be better here since you have better chance catching several clams on each hole.
