Mooch's Mandog Madness Slumber Party Extravaganza Part 2....Live

Due to the tint of my skin and Swine Flu paranoia I was not cordially invited to this event, there was a reluctant offer to let me sleep in the bed of the trucks while everyone else partied it up in the Pebble Beach Estate if I was able to provide my passport showing that I haven't been to Mex in the past 6 mo's and written medical verification from my primary care physician saying that I was not currently suffering from any flu like symptoms.  I could not get a Dr Apt scheduled in time so I was out.

I will be receiving hourly updates though so I can give you guys first hand intel on how RF season is unfolding.  Talked to Mooch this morning, he was supposed to pick up Bill in SJ at 2pm.  He arrived in SJ a couple hours early so he stopped by to visit his HA riding buddies at the Pink Poodle.  He was sipping cokes in the only establishment in town where a grown man can order a coke and still remain respectable.  Unfortunately he spent all his weekend lunch money before he picked up Bill so if you see his dive fins and pole spear for sale next week you know why.

I'm sure they're on the road right now but mooch had plans for a moonlight paddling in stillwater cove.....not sure if Bill was his guest of honor but Mooch seemed pretty excited about it.

I think Brian G is heading up tomorrow, I know he's got sattelite broadband access so i'm sure he'll chime in as well. 

Art, you don't speak up very often, but when you do,  , looking forward to further reporting.

Only reason I got invited was because I am transportation for Newkayakchick.

Update:

Just to clarify, the poodle is a gentlemans club and joel orderd diet coke.....extra ice.  All respectability is out the window.

The conditions are not hospitable for outdoor activities so mooch is making use of the fireplace.  Bill was not impressed when he walked in and found joel layed out in front of the fire on a bear skin rug in his banana hamock.  Now we know why his eharmony chix never come back for a second date.

Plan is to drive south tomorrow to scope the conditions and find the best put in.  If you live in the viciinity of carmel and hear thunder don't fret....its just moochs snoring.

Its been awhile but my health is back and I'm down to fish... Driving down from the Santa Cruz mountains at 530 tomorrow and would be down to head to the south coast if there's crew, but if the weather snot then will probably fish stillwater... Call me up 831 227 0239!

I think I just had a flashback!  and it wasn't a good one - the Pink Poodle, OMG!  I don't know if I've ever felt like $10 had been wasted more quickly or absolutely (it's probably $20 now!) 

Keep us fed on this, Art.  I'll keep eating it.
