Well that cost me some GAF points. I just woke her up laughing my @ss off.
Just watching that guys mannerisms prior to jumping on his yak I knew he was toast.
As much as I love watching guys get eaten up in the surf (c'mon now, who doesn't?)
I liked even more the way each of his mistakes were pointed out.
I am sure this will save more than one persons @ss.

What really impressed me is the power of waves that seem small. I hve seen many divers and kayakers think"thats nothing". Only to get swamped, rolled bashed and otherwise trashed. When I saw him get behind the kayak and the waves coming I thought, Oh this isn't going to be pretty. Thanks for the vid JIm. Craig

Its hard for me to tell. I don't know the area but if the tide was at the low that dropoff at the bottom of the beach is trouble right there. At a higher tide this launch may have been more friendly.
