It was nice hitting the Rockwall with the 510.  It was my first time this year, so it was sorta newbie luck.

I was drifting one of the only three of little shiners netted the night before but one was all it took.  The rod went bendo as I drifted past Ariel, so I thought I was snagged on his line.  But when I looked, back that wasn't the case.  After a couple hard runs, I realized had a striper and netted it.

It was a pleasant surprise to see BassManBen his friend's chocolate lab greeting us back at the ramp.  Thanks for the pix.  Here are a few OTW shots from my camera.....
