I must say it was one of the prettier stripers I've seen in a while. The pic doesn't show it, but it had a steel blue back on it, much like a fresh run steelie. Good to see such healthy specimens. After seeing the Mendo stripers last year, these fish are well balanced and well fed... fought great too

I've seen the blue-sheen on them before. It does look good and hearing from a seasoned fisherman, makes it sound like it might not be as bad as THEY say.

nice measurement!! With those measurements you otta be able to calculate it out to the exact ounces Length X girth / 800 +  right diagonal - counter diagonal = that otta get you there 

Good call this weekend, the bass bite was tough again
