Right on, Duane!  Way to pick 'em out of that murky water.  Its good to hear the bait is showing up... :smt007

Dude, I want to see some action shots of the throw-net in action, Ive only heard stories... you are the smelt-king.

Sorry to whoride your post, Duane, but I've been looking for an excuse to put this somewhere.  You're still the smelt-king  :smt003

Getting em in the wind, true testomony to a man with skilz!! WTG. I was going to try next Tuesday, but the weather forcast didn't look so hot, so I'm considering Wed if the winds lay down. I'll be watching the days leading up to it. If it looks like it's going to be a good day. I was going to do Paradise, but if you want some mid week company, I'd like to check it out with ya.  I've never fished the "East Side" Always fun to check out new waters. Curious about your smeltin' techniques too.  :smt002 Do you do it from shore, dock or yak? I watched a guy throwing a net out at Bodega last year.

I have a castnet if you ever want to give it a shot in Bodega, jonesz.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...
