Heading to Monterey Sunday/Monday and thought I might try poke-poling somewhere. I've seen posts about Moss Landing jetty as a place to try. It looks like there's a section of the Pacific Grove shore that's open for fishing - might that be a good spot at low tide? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Yeah, the area off Ocean View blvd in PG is good. Just stay out of (err, between) the Lovers Pt SMR and Asilomar SMR. Some good spots 10 minutes south of Carmel too. Good luck!
