Sorry for the non-yak reports...I'll include pictures to make up for it.

Got to Pompano Beach today at 11:30. Did the same thing I did at Mirimar Beach last week with the same set up. Got a perch after about 2 hours of casting. Continued to fish the spot where the fist was caught for another hour and didn't get anything else.

While shopping online for the Gulp Sandworm, I noticed that there are Sandcrab lures also. I wonder how effective that would be...

No sorries, Bro - it's a quality report, and we're Jonesin' for any kind of current action to look at and read about.  Keep 'em comin'.   :smt001

Nice catch, nice pic.Why apologize for no yak? I have never caught a barred perch on my yak,in fact, never heard of anyone catching one off a kayak. I'm sure someone has. This, for the most part, is a beach based, surf casting catch. I would be surprised to see this fish caught from a yak. I have thought about trying out the kayak for some barred perch but am fairly certain I will end up getting myself sick. My body doesn't agree with the motion of the ocean. Personally, I was a fisherman before a kayaker. Can't forget the roots. Kayak or no kayak, keep on fishing, boss. Once again nice catch.

WTG on the perch yakaroo. At least you got to wet your line regardless of non
yak.

Nice barred man. Looks like a fat one.
No need to apologize for a non-yak report, maybe just post em in the General Forum or something....I don't know.

thats a big one, too bad there weren't any more with it. the sand crab plastics have never produced as far as I know. My friend live a block from kehoe beach in HMB and has hammered that area for perch and never hooked anything with um.

Yeah, the Gulp sandcrabs are a waste of money IMO.  Never worked for me, although the camo worm is like crack for perch.  Nice report!

Nice going, Joe!

Lure business is huge but most of them are gimmicks. I try not to get "lured" by them. More exciting to do my own, whenever I can.
