hey, way to go, Lino!   Nice perch action.   Having mostly fished Santa Cruz, I always doubted HMB could produce much perch, since i dont see much sand crabs there.    ITs great news to me that fishing is so good there, since its just hte other side of the hill for me.

Perch flies are quick and easy to tie.  IF we go, i can give you some.

BSP on the fly.. AWESOME!! Now that's some exciting fishing. Thanks for the pics TW. I fished those beaches all the time when I was a kid. Dad's house was right there on Dunes Beach. The good ol' days..

Lucky you! Didn't you love it?

Yeah, back then HMB was a little podunk town. Nothing close to what it is today.

Hey Lawrence, I'd like to try your pattern. One of my favorite productive spot is Baker Beach... lots of perch and  :redmoon in the summer time but mostly :male:  :smt011

PM me if you wanna go.

Talk about podunk - I lived in El Granada in '77-78 - too bad I wasn't getting any fishing school at that point or I might never have left.   :smt001

I know...there just isn't enough time to do all the different kinds of great fishing in this area. Having kids definitely cuts down on time away from home. But it's worth it  :smt002

Yeah FF! You gotta show me some of the good holes in ur backyard. Have you tried Pajaro River/Dunes Beach? I heard that there are some good action for flat fish (yummy) also. I may give it a shot soon.
