Holy crap andy!

Duelies on that bad boy? You looking to do some major 4 wheeling?
Hook it up with a nose wheel and a chain drive and you can ride to the water.
It looks awesome! Can't wait to see it in action.

I'll take one of those, I haven't access to welding equip, but have the wheels (singles only)

Way to keep the madness going during the slow season.

Looks nice but don't expect it to do well in the sand.
Below are some pics of almost exactly the same thing ( 4 of the same wheels on a cart ) vs. a set of Roleze in the sand.
The other cart was nicknamed PLOWeze afterwards for a reason.

The BEAST :smt003 Try lowering the air presure in the tires, may work better in the sand. Nice work Andy :smt002

Funny you mention that Allen, Kris was harrasing me to make one so I guess that will be my next project! It took me probably six hours to make in between A twelve pack and keeping Kris entertained...

Nice rig Andy.
I was bored today too--should've called. Looks like a fun project.

I've tried a similar cart w/quad wheels. It worked OK in sand. At least, better than carrying it over your head or dragging it across the sand.

My cousin has some old ATV rims+wheels for me. They're about 10 inches wide and look like they'd make a perfect cart (albiet, a little heavy).

Looks very well built!  Word of caution, though, Scuppers are the weak point on your yak.  Maybe put crossbars & padding on it & you'll be good!

Very true - I'd stay away from carts that fit through the scupper holes -  just my opinion.

If you haven't already done it,  you might think about some cushioning to help prevent the hull from getting dented.

I wouldn't scrap it, just put a padded bar at the top of the verticals for the hull to rest on instead.  The extra clearance can come in real handy.
