Heyyyyyyy SF, strong work out there, I'm glad you got out; how did you end up securing the yak to your car?

Ok, this was pretty ghetto but it worked.  I went to home depot like you said and bought this 1/2" thick 4ft x 8ft piece of foam in the insulation area.  I cut this in half, doubling the thickness, and placing it on top of my corolla before putting my yak on top.  Then I used pieces of rope and tied a loop knot through the scupper holes X4.  Then I opened all four doors and ran two ratchet straps to connect the loops and tightened.  Once the yak was secure, I was ready to go.  Man, I can't wait to install my racks this weekend.
