Yeah now!

Getting exxcited.  I haven't been out fishing since BAM (except perch surfcasting), due to the 5- week virus compounded with ear infections.  gonna get the left ear reamed next month to match the reight ear (damn surfer's ear!)

Stogie, thanks for the caution.  I think we'll be cool at SW.  North coast of SC looks like this:

SAT
NW WINDS 10 TO 20 KT. WIND WAVES 2 TO 4 FT.
NW SWELL 7 TO 9 FT AT 11 SECONDS.

so we decided to head south.

Monterey Bay itself forecast is this:

SAT NIGHT
NW WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS.
W SWELL 3 TO 7 FT AT 11 SECONDS.

Which looks quite doable.  With the wind from the N switching to NW, Stillwater could actually be all-time, protected as it is from NW winds and NW swell.

We discussed that we might be stuck inside the point, but sounds like fishing in there has been good as of last week.

Why don't you join us?  You too Andy!!

Hee Hee.

We'll post pix tomorrow.

Allen

sorry for the delay patrick.

Very fishable on the inside and even around the corner a bit till aroung 11, when the wind came up big time.  Howling from the north about 20kt.. So much for NOAA haha

Fishing was slow, a few rockies here and there.  I got one nice red.  We were joined by chuck and Rob board newbies, who did real well on the big blue and stuck their landings like pros.

Good luck this weekend to those trying stillwater, I hope the fish will be biting again.
