This is just a MBF event, completely informal, so it can happen when we want it to!

I was thinking November 1st, when Dungie season opens. We could have a rockfish/crab combo.

My major concern is that the lot and more importantly the ocean will be full of PB's on opening day, especially since it's a Saturday; anyone have any experience of dungie opening day at HMB?

another sleeping option is the point montara youth hostel at the light house in montara. it over looks a great fishing area that i see PB's at all the time and you have some shore access to do a little fishing if you'd like (non yak). can't wait for the event!

Was thinking that very option.  Seems like an interesting place to spend a night.

:smt044 :smt044 :smt044 Yeah...Its like frekkin BurningMan by the Sea,except everyone is drunk, and not stoned. Believe me its scary!!! Actually HMB dosent have all that much dungie sand/mud in easy reach of a yak with traps. Sure, outside the S seawall, but i have found this to be marginal at best, also chocked with gear......Rockies+Dungies, think Muir Beach if conditions permit..
