South big sur Sat or sun- any takers??

I'm looking to hit southern big sur at the crack of dawn on sat or sunday- any takers??

Good luck. Fishing Monterey/Carmel on Saturday. I think PJ is out due to some anniversary plans. ECDD should be good based on the WX.

Hooked up with PJ at San Simeon at 6AM and put his scupper pro on my car and headed to Limekiln. Got there only to find a large no trespassing sign from the county sherif and the same one at Mill Creek.

I just re-read the monster posting about ECDD and how you ended up there instead of LK or MC.  Unbelievable that the County Sheriff would c@#kblock like that, wondering if its even worth the early trip down there instead of sleeping in and arriving after the gate opens.

Anyone have any idea on how to avoid this?  Wondering if an advanced courtesy call a la GB2 does the trick?

I think the access to LK and Mill Ck was limited due to fire issues. I c/b wrong though.
