Went out of SW with my son Nathan and caught numerous gophers, blues, grass, kelp and a few rosy rockfish.  Most fish were on the small side.  One in particular was really ambitious trying to eat a swim bait that was a hair larger than itself.

Met Phil on the water (nice to meet you) casting a fly.  Darn, yet another thing to try!

While not bragging size had enough fish for a taco feast Sunday.

no lings or cabbies but the water is warming up, 58 degrees and the fish seem to be SLOWLY getting more active.  Found this camo crab in the kelp, really cool looking.

(for those who read to the end, but wait theres more!)

Went for a bike ride down to Capitola pier today around 2 pm and saw a few folks coming off the skiffs with nice halibut and one PB guy cleaning 3 nice ones.

Nice to meet you & Nathan. I ended up with three nice olives, but no pics. Landed a lot of small ones. I baked 'em up with lots of garlic.
