If this wind machine ever lets up!!!  Going with a friend Dave to give the shad a try.  Probably start at Sailors and go to Rossmoor.  Hit the good spots along the way.

I'm no expert, so if you have a better plan that's great.
Good luck,

Pete

Good luck Pete! I have been itching to drift the A for a while now. Next time I visit my parents, will give it a go. Hope you get some feisty california tarpon.

Depending on the WIIIIND I will probably hit the river after work. The plan will probably go as such, get in at Ancel Hoffman walk up the bike trail or paddle up river to Elmanto float down and anchor up below San Juan Rapids and try the flat water. What time were you planning on getting in at Sailor bar.

FYI:You might want to try for striper right under Red Bridge. A guy last week caught a nice one .

I have the day off fri. so the plan is to hit it around 0730.  Maybe just hang around untill 1200 or so.  I'll let you guys know what happens either way   :smt001

Thanks for the 411 on the striper!!
Good luck,

Good luck, hope the wind isn't as bad as they say its going to be with 20-30mph during the day and 15-20 in the evening. I just want it to die down in the evening so that I can hit the water after work. Looking forward to the report.
