The Pinnacles SMR is the only no-fishing reserve along there. It is really tough to make out the boundaries using visual markers but I remember a post by Fuzzy Tom (I think it was him) where he sort of explained where the boundaries are, in relation to the shoreline/kelp. I'll try to take some pics of shoreline to use as visual markers tomorrow. I've got the boundaries plugged into my handheld GPS.
Here's a link to the maps: http://www.dfg.ca.gov/mlpa/ccmpas_list.asp#pinnacles
In the zoomed-in image below, I put a red dot where the launch is located.
Good luck,
PK

Here's a point of reference for the fishable area north of the Point Lobos SMR.

True, that is the North border of the Pt Lobos SMR. But if you paddle all the way there from Stillwater...well, you might as well fish inside the reserve because you'll need the DFG to give you a ride back to Stillwater LOL!

I know. I'm just referring to that area as an alternative to Stillwater. I, Alex, Doug and James caught some decent  rockfish in that general area north of Pt Lobos. This is in reference to the picture of the SMR that you posted.
