Waiting for Abking to report

NWS is being very persistent about the big swell they see coming Sunday... 

.SUN...SW WIND 5 TO 10 KT...BECOMING NW. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. NW SWELL 11 FT. SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS.

Abglance is holding strong with 5-7' water early in the day Sunday...

I just put two and two together and figured out that this Sunday is Easter - Due to easter egg hunts and such, it's looking like I'll be in deep shit if I fish all day.  I'm considering going down Saturday midday, fishing that afternoon/evening if possible, then dawn patrol Sunday and boogie out of there around 10:30AM to get home by noon and avoid most of Mama's wrath!

I'm on the fence...   

Eric,  I am waiting for your call but as of now I am thinking I will drive up Friday if you think we will have a window on Sat/Sun.  I too should get out of there early Sunday as it is my birthday as well as Easter and that is the only reason I get a pass for the weekend.  The wife and kid figured I would have more fun if they did not come along.

I just sent a PM to Etienne - I'm scrapping this weekend due to iffy forecast, and I went down today and there wasn't a bite to be had...  I'll post my report a little later. 

I'll be watching to see how next weekend shapes up.  This is a tricky science, and I'd hate for someone to make the long trip only to watch the wind and swells...  the lack of a bite today kinda tops it off too, but you never know when it'll turn on. 

I'll start a new post around Tuesday that will track toward closing weekend.

Weather for the most part, and now regs....would have been an epic trip last week...
oh well, it might have to be a land-locker this year....
