On the water at 7:30 am.  First fish at 8 am and it was 8 lbs and 26 1/2 ins.  She put up a great fight on 2 lb leader and 6 lb main line.  I thought I messed up the landing job.  It was near the net and I thought it swam around the net and wrapped the line around the net.  But, it swam right into the net.  All I had to do was lift.

Got one more little one 14" at 12:30 pm.  All on green power bait. Got, windy at 1 pm.Trolled for an hour...no bites.

Water level is up probably 3 ft from last week.  A few of the picnic tables are in water.  Probably, that much water shut down the bite.  Most shore guys had 0 to 3 fish.  I had to cut the big one in half to get it into my ice chest w/ice strapped to the back of my yak.

Man, that hog rainbow is probably bigger than some of the salmon we'll see this year! Thanks for the report and pic, kickfish. And thanks to Ray too. You own that lake man! Been pulling some massive trout outta there this year.
