Loch Lomond Res

Thinking about hitting Loch on Sun March 2nd. Anyone down? The first is going to be a nightmare.The weather should be cherry. Andy  

Well...maybe. I was hoping to go on Monday with the big crew of NCKAers but found out I have to work on Monday afterall. 

I am definitely fishing before the NCKA awards at Aquan Sports. Choices are: Loch Lomond, Quarry Lakes, and S Bay sturgeon. Hmmmm....
I've heard the opening wknd there can be rough, and full of boaters. Been there a bunch of times but never on opening wknd and never with a kayak.

Wish I could join you Andy.  I had thoughts of combat fishing LL on Saturday but work will be getting in the way!

I'll be lucky to escape for the AOTY ceremeony Sunday afternoon.

Good luck and knock 'em dead - whatever is left over from Sat. that is.  Try to leave a few for the guys on Monday too.

  The opening weekend (both days) has usually been very chaotic at best. (In the morning.Saturday being the worst day)  Good luck with the "combat launching" Sunday morning. 
  I'm fortunate enough to have a work schedule that allows me Mondays off, so my opener will be on Monday 3/3.  The lake is usually empty! (due in part to that ugly word "work week"!)
Although this particular Monday, it won't be empty as at least 4 NCKA'ers plus me and 4 from my work will invade the waters.

If your into birding, wildlife watching I've seen Ospreys, great blue herons, some Loons, coots, cormorants, regular ducks, (Mallards & hens) Raccoons on the banks, and deer.

Damn man!! I was really looking forward to fishing with you on Monday. We'll have to do it again sometime soon.

Sorry for the thread jack Fish Master1. You should just take Monday off with the rest of us.
