Hey Tote,

I remember when 30 was old, then I remember when 40 was old, please don't tell me that 50 is old too, I've only got 8 more years!  :smt013

And another thing, how come everyone around me keeps getting older, but I seem to be staying the same age?  :smt005

Hi Yakers:

Dudes take a chill pill and  pray for the family. We all going to die one way or another. Should I piss on someone's memory because, I  have over inflated Ego of what I would do or not do?

Living in Mendo that's just a way of Life  :smoke
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Sean , thanks for your concern :smt008 I look forward to being in the big blue....but if I ever make the mistake of going out in 20 foot seas and don't make it back.....please call me a "dummy" instead of "stupid"  :smt002 It just sounds a little better  :smt003 Love ya brah  :smt008

Sean, thanks for the concern too...however if I go out in 20 foot seas and don't make it back feel free to call me stupid and don't forget to add a good post-moretem ass kicking on behalf of Omar who would probably be the one to suffer the most from the tragedy.  I hope I never get so ballsy that I think it's even remotely safe for me to be out there in that.

However, if I go out on a good day and things turn ugly lets go ahead and just call it what it is an accident.  There would still probably be a little bit of stupidity in there somewhere but lets hope that these classes I've been taking help me to minimize that.

I think it is wonderful that we can have a valid exchange of ideas without resulting to name-calling, etc. This type of dialogue is not evident on other fishing websites. Just another reason why NCKA is THE BEST.

I feel bad for the people who lost their lives. And I feel even worse for their families. Who doesn't?

The facts speak for themselves. These fellows most likely made stupid decisions = YES. However, this does not mean they, themselves, were stupid. And jumping to such a dramatic conclusion is, in fact, a stupid thing to do. Even the smartest people in the world have made stupid decisions in their lives.

It kinda seems like we're all arguing different points. And nobody is necessarily wrong. Because we're just expressing our own opinions. Think about it: kayakjacks' opinion that 'we should all have respect for the guys who died' is just as valid as scwa's opinion that 'some of these deaths were preventable.'

Alright, I feel better. Group hug. Happy times. Can we get back to talking about fishing meow?

My lord, step away from the PC for a few days and look what I missed. It took me less that 30 seconds to figure out what happened here.... :smt012, rock fish closed to damn early and you are all bored...... :smt002. You all need to take a road trip and come join me for some fall steelhead fishing.

www.rapidriveroutfittersllc.com,

The "Cast and blast" looks like fun.  What is a "Chukkar"?

When I play basketball everyone calls me a "chucker" - is it this same thing?   :smt002
