Are there fish cleaning stations in Monterey? By Del Monte beach or the Coast Guard Pier? I'm getting tired of bringing home whole fish. Cleaned fillets sound better.

What about benches and BBQ pits in the same area? I want to grill some squid when I get off the water.

TIA!

You can legally fillet rockfish on the water. just know the regulations

Leaving skin on. Filet lengths. Halibut is a tricky one on the water being that you have to keep whole sides intact I believe.

Some of the parks have BBQ pits.   Google Monterey bbq parks.

Closest would be El Estero Park.  To the right of the baseball field are picnic tables and BBQ pits.
