Took Collin, 4, for some trolling along Cock Robin Island yesterday late afternoon.  He liked the Gator hatch seat.  We didn't hook up or see any fish roll, but we had fun.  The new ramp is nice.  We'll be back down there soon.

Great photos Eric. Nice job on gettin' him started early. The earlier the better.
You should get that little guy some waterproof pants. At that age dressing up like dad is HUGE.
Can't wait to see the look in his face when he is sitting there and you hook a fish as big as him.

You're right, Mike.   :smt001  I was in shorts though!   :smt003  Love the dry ride in the X-Factor.  A little over 250# total load and I don't think I was even getting any water on the back of my calves through the scuppers.  It was nice and calm out.  I'll get him in a wetsuit if there's water or wind to deal with.  We scrapped going back down today because it's foggy down there.  I'm looking forward to seeing some powerboat action and hearing if there are any numbers of fish in the river.  They're often upstream of the launch a mile to a mile and a half at Snag Hole.

More later...    :smt006

Great shot of the little guy at sunset Eric. The gator hatch is perfect for kids to fish with dad. I hear no one is fishing the Eel, yet they're all up at Klamath.

Should look at the Regs but they frustrate me what are the regs on Salmon on the Eel? I know you can't retain steelies but what about Salmon How Healthy is the run?
