Corral St. This Thursday

solsrf1 (Mike) and I will be doing Corral St. this Thursday. I still need a Lingzilla and a Cabby for the AOTY. Mike and I will be watching the wheather then tighten up info by tomorrow. Company welcome ch.69. Frankfishing

Ya, if you get to Coral St and the waves are breaking across that little cove, you might want to retreat back towards San Carlos Beach. I've been to Coral St when the waves were absolutely wicked...and it was unlaunchable.

That outside is pretty exposed  Last time I came in at one of the rocky spots on the outside I was wishing I had a helmet

I forget the name of the group of guys who did that for fun, kamikazi pilots or something  Seriously lulu but I'm pretty sure they wore helmets

Most of my launches lately are beach but it might be nice to have a little brainbucket handy in the forward hatch

What a great area  Hope you get fish and some nice pics Too bad the smell of the ocean cant be transmitted digitally

Thanks for the suggestion and will take my helmet with me. Better safe then sorry.As for the smell of the sea maybe put a few shells by the computer and inhale hard to duplicate that aroma

Can you enlighten a newbie with info as to where coral st. is?

Its in PG past Lovers Pt by about 2 miles. Otter Cove is about a mile past Lovers. Here's the launch at Coral St:

Mike and I have decided against Coral St. and meet up hopefully next week. To large of a swell 12' every 12 sec. so were calling it off. Will divert to a local launch maybe Richmond. Frank

With my luck Blue a whole tribe of tourist would have been there to record the carnage

The inner bay looked FAC this morning as I drove to work. Launching from San Carlos beach is almost always a launchable spot...unless its a 10-16ft N swell.
