I knew Keith well. For about 10 years I wrote the Marin IJ's weekly fishing column, and Keith was usually the first guy I called to get the latest big fish story. He was almost always fun to talk with (occasionally in a sour mood, but we all have our moments). He invited me fishing many times but I never got around to taking him up on it. I know I should have.

Spent an hour or so talking to Bear yesterday about Keith...pretty funny stories. One that got me was that he and Gloria took one vacation in their 30+ years of marriage, rest of the time he was at the bait shop.
