How do you like the 4.7 compared to others such as prowler and tarpon?  I've been keeping an eye on a 4.7 here for sale and am wondering if it's a big enough upgrade over my trident to justify the purchase.  I'm not a big fan of my trident -- rides too high and is noticeably slower than I'd like -- hopefully the ultras solved those issues?

Just buy it. Best boat they ever made.  Imported and designed in NZ. Best of the Prowler and Trident but longer and better deck config with innovative flip cover on the rod pod, Separate well to fit your Plano box perfectly. Plastic is a bit thin on the hull, so don't store on a flat surface. Rare and getting more rare.  buy it!  It's faster than the T15 (and 13) and sits lower in the water. My favorite all-time and I had my pick of Ocean Kayaks for almost 20 years. Thisis the third one I've had.  One went to Johnny Abalone when he moved to Hawaii. One got ruined from a 15-foot swell, hit every rock from Santa Cruise to Manresa.  This is from Sebast I snatched! THANK YOU!  So nice to paddle and glide again!
