Hey everyone!  :smt006

Selling my Old Town Predator.  It's seen plenty of use, but its still a great boat.  The mod pod has been well... modified, but is still tight and seals air tight.  I replaced the side plates with wood so the attached rails and adapters would be sturdier.  I still have a lot of the parts and other stuff that came with it, which I will include.  I adapted it for a through-hull fish finder setup where you mount the fishfinder on the ram ball in the middle with the wires going into the hull through a Hobie wire grommet.

Im selling this as pictured... I'll include the various things that came with it and could throw in a paddle if desired.

Asking $500 obo.

Best,
Nolan

Btw, I need this out of here.  If $600 is too much, make an offer!  I can include extras to make it more worth it.  It's a great paddle kayak - super stable, customized for fishing.

Would this kayak work for somebody who is 6’3” and 280lbs? My cousin is looking for a kayak, mostly for lakes in the foothills/central valley.

Absolutely.  I'm 6'2" pushing 250.  It's a super stable boat.

Updated to $500 obo.  Need it gone to make room for my new AI!

This boat probably has $500 worth of rails, mounts, and modifications alone.   The hull is air tight - so much that when you close the front hatch, you can feel the air pressure.  The only screwy part is the front hatch, which has taken some obvious rigging to get back to air tight.  The reason being, one of the original straps was accidentally cut, so I took the opportunity to upgrade the center mod pod.  Problem was, the clips on the new mod pod didnt install very well, and I wasnt confident in it, so I improvised a system with bungees.  The new system is pretty easy and doesnt take much effort otw to deal with.

As mentioned previously, this is excellent for big dudes (or big gals) probably better in a lake/river setting, but I have probably paddled it over 300 miles in the ocean as well.  Reach out if you have any questions or comments if you're on the fence.
