On the Royal Polaris I had a 100+ lb yellowfin at deep color and it got sawed off at the pectoral fins, one bite (with a pretty good run). The deck hand looked at the bite radius and said "that was a big one." The tunas gill plates were still moving.
 What was left of the loins went to the galley for our sushi and sashimi lunch spread, at least it was well bled.

I'm starting to get the feeling you have done a lot of fishing,  :smt044.

 Never enough! Everyday life gets in the way. I'm lucky to have a understanding wife, she let me do 10 years of Long Range fishing after we got married. :love4: Although she wanted equal time in Hawaii in trade  :smt044.

Just get leave her and you can fish when every you want.  I just carry a big rod and reel...if anyone ask?..if I am "getting some".  :smt044  I just answer...Yeah...BABY!!!
