I have to be back teaching school this Thursday so, two last quick trips for me and SlowMo before it's weekends only: we are thinking Monastary (take a shot a Bloodbath's tagalong halibut) Monday and undecided about Wed. Any and all welcome to add to the fun. Also open to suggestion....

Looks like I can make it. What time do you have in mind?

The idea is to leave Bonny Doon at 6am (Monday) and be at Monastery around 7:15 or so. Planning to launch off the south end of the beach this time.

For Wednesday we are leaning towards launching at Mitchell's cove and paddling up the coast for awhile to see what we can find and then blowing back once the wind comes up. Will be at West Cliff and Almar @ 6:20.

The weather and ocean has been so nice in Carmel the past few days.  I would love to be out there with you but work keeps getting in the way. Good luck and have fun.

Fuzzy Tom, hope to see you there. I will be driving a white Ford van with 4 kayaks, SlowMo and I will be on orange Tarpons. Sin Coast how about you?

Work calls. I am resigned to weekend fishing for a while. Hope you guys get some nice rockies this week though!
Good luck,

Hey Patrick,
Thanks for the good words! We just came in from hooking up SlowMo's new fish finder and are pretty excited about tomorrow with a little technological help. We hope to find the spot you told me about out on the water where you were picking up all the bites, thanks. Down the road if you want to do a 2 car shuttle and paddle across from Stillwater my van would make for a good shuttle vehicle, I'm for it any time.
