Bodega Bay Monday July 5th

Main gate is always open. The gate before the day use parking area opens at 7. The self pay is no longer at the gate, but a machine by the boat launch. We were there today and it was slow as hell even for the boaters. We followed the fleet about 5 miles to the fishing ground, but didn’t see any of them bagging fish.

heard South of Goat Rock was the spot ,150'- 175'  off shore . a ways from BB for sure

Why not launch from goat rock beach if that’s the case?

Because they’re be big ol rocks on the south side... and big ol waves on the north side... south is doable in some cases.....
