printed up a battery holder for the SLA battery to power my Garmin  Striker 4 GPS on my PA14
tried simple wire ties and a CURT battery holder first, but ended up printing

the last image is the cover that I printed up - realized I needed it after initial install

edited 4/26/21: added picture with proper lid and shot from the back.

Very cool solution, I like it!
Just know that you’ll probably have to replace the wire terminals every season if you fish saltwater. They’ll eventually get corroded due to exposure. It even happens in the water-tight tupperware boxes I use.

yah, I soldered them on, but I'll keep an eye on that - thanks for the info.

If you soldered them on, do yourself the favor and paint on some liquid electrical tape to cover all exposed metal.  Clean the metal first with either some contact cleaner or simple white vinegar rinsed with distilled water.  After the liquid electrical tape dries, put a thin coat of dielectric grease on the outside for double protection.  With full coverage and thorough prep, the terminals will outlast the battery.
