Well, you were doing your thing in a Scupper Pro with a weight capacity rating of only 350#.

And JTF did suggest putting a hatch in the rear with a tankwell up front.

I'm sure someone could do a tankwell design with better buoyancy in that end.

If you are interested Go Bananas on Oahu ships the two hatch version from NZ to Hawaii he says he has shiped them to CA for other guys.  He has worked with the NZ company and had them make the modifications that were done just before they stoped makeing them in the states.  He also said he could get the 4.5s if any one is interested.

One of our employees from Outback Adventures just got back from a 1-2 month stay in Hawaii and worked for John at Go Bananas for awhile.  He said that they did indeed sell the 2 hatched Scupper Pro and that John is a nice guy.  I wish I could sell them too, but since I can't, I'd encourage you to check out Go Bananas.
