Hope any kayak/fishing outings you've been on recently have gone well.  I live over in west sac and came across the post after searching for recent american river salmon reports (I have a boat but trolling the Sac river has been slow lately...).  Super short notice here but I'm launching out of Howe tomorrow morning (Sat. Oct 31) and will be fishing for salmon around the water treatment plant.  Hooked up on a salmon last week trolling a plug but lost it after a few seconds...  Anyway, let me know if interested in future or even tomorrow, i'll be in a crappy dark green sit on top sun dolphin kayak

Welcome to the group. I'm also in Sac, but most of my fishing and kayak experience is coastal. I've floated the American but never fishing it from the kayak. Would be interested in your experience going for salmon or getting out there with you sometime
