Pat,

Nice to hear from you. I'm sure all the sharks love the growing hoard of seals that gather here.

For some reason, when I saw your post I flashed back to the time that Alax and I were fishing at Monastery Beach and we were tracking you as you paddled close and parallel to the the shoreline. Funny how certain things just stick in your memory.

Fishemotion, thanks for posting the thread on the MBK Fishing and Safety cloass. (Is there a way to get pictures without photobucket watermark?}

I enjoyed reviewing the  pictures and remembering the experience, but I was saddened to see the pictures of Aaron.  I recalled the number of times I fished with him and what an enthusiastic and helpful guy he was for a newbie to the sport. I bought my Prowler 15 from him.

It was nice to review the legacy left on the site by friends that knew him well.

No idea about the watermark thing, but here's my aftermath pic from kayak fishing in the morning, the MBK surf class and the drives to and and fro.

GB2(Scott) took us out for some dab fishing and swells were bigger that morning than what I was used to on a kayak.  I recall seeing his prowler? disappear in the distance in the swells but his flag definitely made for better visibility at times. On the return approach to MBK, maybe I took the wrong route or something but my memory was even bigger swells that were surfing me and giving me some wooahhh moments as the hobie would start to get steep and bow sometimes slightly digging in and under. Scott met me back at the MBK parking lot to inspect my catch and send me in the right direction for class.

I don't recall any of the verbal instructions/traing given that day in the class and maybe i was too busy dorking around with the camera.  It was a long day for me and i could only seem to hear  "wa wa waa wa. wa wa wa waa. Wa wa waa wa wa." Luckily during the surf session of the class, I got the lull in sets or something and i think i got out of the side surfing somehows.  :smt001

Endearing Pooch Tya (choco lab) is no longer around to take on her walks or goofy looks and these days i rarely think of her,,,

In this world, like minuscule grains in sands of time we can exist. But there is hope for a better tomorrow🕊 ... i think that's like a star wars movie or something?  :smt003  Well anyhows my apologies for da non sequiturs and fish on! .... and Fear no fish!  :salut: :karate
