Not even D. Just a mild set back.

Right on, Brother! When you're ready to get back in the saddle I have an extra C14 you can borrow any time.

I must be missing something here, but it looks like REI is selling this (new) for $1700, with free shipping. The REI rebate would more than take care of sales tax...

Yes theirs is a ,lot less ,and obviously not used ,what can I say . Theirs excludes a factory installed rudder.

All I can say is this : purchased for $1899. at Claveys in Petaluma,Factory installed rudder $289.Sales tax $175.04

Total $ 2363.04 .I`m now asking $1900

I used it about 10 times

Toss a rudder on it at the factory( if buyer so  chooses)  1700 +289=1989  excluding rebate which like you wrote probably covers sales tax

$1900 is fair but so I felt about $2000 also

Besides not many it seems are interested in paddle boats anymore unless they`re used and cheap.

Probably end up keeping it ,was selling to finance a trailer from Malone or a Native Watercraft Manta Ray Propel 12
I could buy both now but they would be sitting anyway

Meh ..timing is everything    :dontknow: :smt001

Why not see if the Headwaters will buy it and also make a deal on the trailer or native kayak? I am thinking Dan may be able to work something out.

Help a brother out and buy this kayak!  From my study, and the name of course, you will not be disappointed, especially with the factory rudder kit, I could imagine such a light efficient kayak... :smt006
